Whitney Milam is a digital director, creative producer, and strategic communications professional with over a decade of experience in the digital space. Since January 2017, Whitney has merged her digital expertise with foreign policy and national security: she was Associate Director of Digital Communications at National Security Action, and was previously Associate Director of Digital Communications at the Atlantic Council, with particular focus on issues of disinformation, corruption, climate change, and authoritarianism. Most recently, she led digital strategy for the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition confirmations team, scripting and producing all transition videos featuring nominees and appointees.
Whitney previously produced digital series and short films with New Form Digital, Discovery, Lionsgate, Legendary, and more. Additionally, she wrote and produced dozens of shows, segments, and stand-alone videos for AwesomenessTV, POPSUGAR, Geek & Sundry, and CryptTV. Prior to that, she worked at Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.
Now based in Washington DC, Whitney attended UCLA and has lived in California, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee, Germany, and Japan.
